With all three Regional Competitions complete, we are thrilled to announce our Regional Champions and all schools advancing to the State Final of the NCASA NC Dance Ensemble Competition presented by Fox 50 on December 5 at Wakefield High School.  

The West Regional was held on November 6 at AL Brown High School in Kannapolis, where Mount Airy Middle School took the title in Jazz/Hip-Hop and JM Robinson Middle School won in Contemporary/Lyrical.  In the High School Division, East Lincoln was our Jazz/Hip-Hop winner, and Hough was our Contemporary/Lyrical champion.

The Central Regional was held on November 14 at Northwood High School in Pittsboro.  For middle schools, Harris Road finished at the top in Jazz/Hip-Hop, and Clover Garden took home the title in Contemporary/Lyrical.  For high schools, Myers Park won the top spot in Jazz/Hip-Hop, and Hillside High School won in Contemporary/Lyrical.

The East Regional was also held on November 14 at Broughton High School in Raleigh.  There, Wayne School of Engineering Middle School was our winner in Jazz/Hip-Hop, and Arendell Parrott Academy took the title in the Contemporary/Lyrical category.  Among high schools, Wakefield High is our champion in Jazz/Hip-Hop, and Broughton High and Wayne School of Engineering share the title for Contemporary/Lyrical.

Jazz/Hip-Hop:  Brawley Middle School, Central Middle School of Gates County, Highland Middle School, JN Fries Middle School, and Overhills Middle School

Contemporary/Lyrical:  Ligon Middle School and Mount Airy Middle School

Jazz/Hip-Hop:  Broughton High School, Northern Durham High School, Northwest Guilford High School, South Columbus High School, and Wayne School of Engineering

Contemporary/Lyrical:  Brunswick Early College High School, East Lincoln High School, Northern Durham High School, Northwood High School, Arendell Parrott Academy, and Wakefield High School
