Scholastic Cup 2011-2012 ResultsThe North Carolina Association for Scholastic Activities is proud to announce the second winner of the NCASA Scholastic Cup. This year's winner is reigning champion Myers Park High School of Charlotte. Myers Park finished fourth in the NC Glee Club Competition to overtake NC School of Science and Mathematics and capture the crown. Myers Park High School earned a top five finish among NCASA member schools in nine out of twelve competitions and won state titles in the State Chess Competition and Odyssey of the Mind. Second place NC School of Science and Mathematics won state titles in Science Bowl, Economics Challenge, Science Olympiad, and State Math Contest, and finished first among member schools in Envirothon. NCASA Scholastic Cup - OverviewThe NCASA Scholastic Cup is awarded by the North Carolina Association for Scholastic Activities (NCASA) to the high school that earns the most Scholastic Cup points through participation and excellence in scholastic competitions throughout the school year. The Middle School Cup presented by Time Warner Cable is presented to the middle school that earns the most points through participation and excellence in middle school competitions. These Cups will be awarded to the schools with the best overall performance from all NCASA-hosted and Partner Competitions. Scholastic Cup Points will be awarded to NCASA Member Schools as described below.
