Results from 2019 Twelve Regionals
TWELVE - More than 400 students from schools across North Carolina competed in the ninth annual Twelve Regional Competitions on Saturday, November 23. Students were tested on their knowledge of the core curriculum plus wildcard topics such as State Symbols and Visual Arts.
Top teams and qualifiers for the December 14 State Final hosted by Jay M Robinson Middle School are shown below with their scores at Regionals.
Art Showcase - Overview
Art Showcase challenges artists of different media from different schools in a judged competition that awards both individual and group prizes. Media categories are shown below. Students create their artwork and enter the competition by submitting digital images of their work. Top students' works from each category progress to the statewide competition and are evaluated by judges in-person.
NEW in 2024-2025:
- A Google Form will be used to send all team details and works to be submitted to the judges. The form will be shared with all registered coaches.
- Rules have been overhauled to provide additional details for each media. See below for rules link.
- Film and Animation is a new media type open to middle and high school students.
