High School State Champion William A Hough High School
NCASA and William Peace Unversity presented the State Finals of the 2017 William Peace University North Carolina Middle School Show Choir Competition on Saturday, April 29 at William A Hough High School. All competing schools qualified at Regionals in late March.

3 - Lake Norman High School with a rating of Excellent
4 - Overhills High School of Harnett County with an Excellent
5 - West Brunswick High School with an Excellent
6 - Kings Mountain High School with an Excellent
7 - Hillside High School of Durham with an Excellent
8 - EE Smith High School of Fayetteville
Hough High School performed songs which included Flashlight, We Will Rock You, and Applause.
