Twelve - Regional Results Made Final for State
State Champion Metrolina Regional Scholars Academy
The NCASA Board of Directors met and reviewed the situation concerning the Twelve State Finals and winter weather. After extensive review of possible next steps including a reschedule date and attempting to allow schools to compete remotely, the decision was made not to attempt to reschedule the State Finals a second time.
This decision means we will use the scores from Regionals as the final competition results. See final standings below:
Twelve - Overview of Competition and Introduction
Twelve is a knowledge-based academic competition that challenges teams of students to answer questions covering a variety of subject areas. The competition is based primarily on the core curriculum. Twelve is an original competition developed by the North Carolina Association for Scholastic Activities (NCASA).
Twelve teams of twelve students each will tackle twelve topics with twelve questions each. Will your school be one of twelve to compete for the state championship of Twelve?
