The Quill 2019 Regional Winners Announced

NCASA is pleased to announce Regional winners and State Finals Qualifiers for The Quill!
On October 24, students across North Carolina sat down to computers at their schools to respond to on-demand writing prompts in regional competitions for the state writing competition, The Quill. Prompts covered the core curriculum types of Argumentation, Problem/Solution, Narrative Writing (middle school), Creative Writing (high school), Informative/Explanatory (middle school), and Literary Analysis (high school).
Register for 2019-2020 NCASA Membership
Registration for NCASA Membership in the 2019-2020 school year is now open. All NCASA competitions are free for member schools. To join, simply fill out the online form HERE, then fill out and mail Part II with your payment. The membership fee is $250 per school plus $0.25 per enrolled student. After an LEA registers, each school must still register online.
