The thirteenth annual NCASA Quiz Bowl State Tournament was held March 16 at Page High School in Greensboro. We congratulate NCSSM Durham, our High School State Champion, and Smith Middle School, our Middle School State Champion! NCSSM Durham is shown above.

The top 16 high schools and 12 middle schools competed to become champions. Final results are shown below. 

In the middle school final, Martin MS took the first two questions but Smith took the next nine questions and never looked back, winning 520-115. In the high school final, Early College at Guilford led 130-10 after six questions, but NCSSM Durham came back, taking the lead at question 12 and led the rest of the way, winning 360-230.
