This year's event will move to a Preliminaries - Finals format, with all high schools performing first, then top performers invited to perform again the same day to determine the final rankings of top choirs.

The event will be March 28, 2020 hosted by Simon G Atkins High School of Winston-Salem. High schools will perform in the morning and afternoon, middle schools will perform in the evening.

The only significant rule change for 2020 is the increase of performance time for high schools to 20 minutes maximum. Middle school performance time remains 13 minutes maximum.

Complete updated competition rules are in the Resources section of the website.
